MPPFND: A Dataset and Analysis of Detecting Fake News with Multi-Platform Propagation
Zhao, Congyuan, Wei, Lingwei, Qin, Ziming, Zhou, Wei, Song, Yunya, Hu, Songlin
Most existing detection algorithms focus on analyzing news content and social context to detect fake news. However, these approaches typically detect fake news based on specific platforms, ignoring differences in propagation characteristics across platforms. In this paper, we introduce the MPPFND dataset, which captures propagation structures across multiple platforms. We also describe the commenting and propagation characteristics of different platforms to show that their social contexts have distinct features. We propose a multi-platform fake news detection model (APSL) that uses graph neural networks to extract social context features from various platforms. Experiments show that accounting for cross-platform propagation differences improves fake news detection performance.

Large Language Model-Brained GUI Agents: A Survey
Zhang, Chaoyun, He, Shilin, Qian, Jiaxu, Li, Bowen, Li, Liqun, Qin, Si, Kang, Yu, Ma, Minghua, Liu, Guyue, Lin, Qingwei, Rajmohan, Saravan, Zhang, Dongmei, Zhang, Qi
GUIs have long been central to human-computer interaction, providing an intuitive and visually-driven way to access and interact with digital systems. The advent of LLMs, particularly multimodal models, has ushered in a new era of GUI automation. They have demonstrated exceptional capabilities in natural language understanding, code generation, and visual processing. This has paved the way for a new generation of LLM-brained GUI agents capable of interpreting complex GUI elements and autonomously executing actions based on natural language instructions. These agents represent a paradigm shift, enabling users to perform intricate, multi-step tasks through simple conversational commands. Their applications span across web navigation, mobile app interactions, and desktop automation, offering a transformative user experience that revolutionizes how individuals interact with software. This emerging field is rapidly advancing, with significant progress in both research and industry. To provide a structured understanding of this trend, this paper presents a comprehensive survey of LLM-brained GUI agents, exploring their historical evolution, core components, and advanced techniques. We address research questions such as existing GUI agent frameworks, the collection and utilization of data for training specialized GUI agents, the development of large action models tailored for GUI tasks, and the evaluation metrics and benchmarks necessary to assess their effectiveness. Additionally, we examine emerging applications powered by these agents. Through a detailed analysis, this survey identifies key research gaps and outlines a roadmap for future advancements in the field. By consolidating foundational knowledge and state-of-the-art developments, this work aims to guide both researchers and practitioners in overcoming challenges and unlocking the full potential of LLM-brained GUI agents.

Meta Moves to Counter New Malware and Repeat Account Takeovers
The social media giant Meta warned today that it sees many malware actors spreading their attack infrastructure across multiple platforms, to make it more difficult for individual tech companies to detect their malicious activity. The company added, though, that it views the shift in tactics as a sign that industry crackdowns are working, and it says it is launching additional resources and protections for business users with the goal of raising the barriers for attackers even more. On Facebook, Meta has now added new controls for business accounts to manage, audit, and limit who can become an account administrator, who can add other administrators, and who can perform sensitive actions like accessing a line of credit. The goal is to make it more difficult for attackers to use some of their most common tactics. For example, bad actors may take over the account of an individual who is employed by or otherwise connected to a target company, so the attacker can then add the compromised account as an administrator on the business page.

Accelerate your marketing plan by leveraging AI for content creation
Did you miss a session from the Future of Work Summit? Ecommerce has long been growing in popularity with private consumers and enterprises alike, but the pandemic drove an unprecedented flurry of activity even from segments that hadn't previously embraced online shopping. With this rapid growth, and with customers' evolved expectations for timing and delivery, there is a growing need for direct-to-consumer brands to accelerate their marketing capabilities. At the center of this trend is the need for content, which must now be scaled across different platforms and segments quickly and intelligently. However, this process is very demanding, and effective content creation for multiple platforms -- including ecommerce -- is almost impossible without appropriate artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) infrastructure.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a cutting-edge technology that enables robots to learn from their own experience. AI can be found in self-driving cars, smart homes, and chess computers, to name a few. They are based on deep learning and are equipped with artificial intelligence. Computers can execute complex tasks using these technologies. As a result, businesses are recognized for their enthusiasm for AI to obtain a competitive advantage over their competitors.
AI Content Creator: 5 Ways it Helps Your Blog Grow
Every blogger wants their blog to rank in the top position in Google search results since users commonly select results contained on the first page, especially those in one of the top 3 positions, as you can see in the graphic below. And, for years, the Google search algorithm made content king. This explains why companies invest more into content creation, with 24% of marketers planning to increase their budget for content marketing from 2020 levels. But, content creation is expensive; costing between $2000 and $10,000 a month for the average SME (small and mid-sized enterprise). If you want to get those costs down, consider using an AI-fueled content creator to make your job efficient at a lower cost. Moreover, if you write the content yourself, or you hire a writer to create content, it doesn't take long before you run out of topic ideas.
